private evening cruise on Coniston

Coniston Launch is pleased to offer evening private charter. We have a boat available at 4.30 on most days - we can run until it gets too dark!

We can take up to 100 people on two boats, but suggest that groups should normally limit numbers to 35 people (70 on two boats). Our fares for a one hour cruise are:

• 1 to 12 people: £160.00
• 13 to 20 people: £220.00
• over 20 people: charged at £6.90 per extra person
• each additional half-hour: £100.00
• children under 3 years old are free

special interest groups

We are very happy to organise private charters for groups wanting one of our Special Interest Cruises. Again they have to be after 4.30. The fares are:

• Swallows and Amazons (110 minutes)
  • 1 to 12 people: £200.00
  • 13 to 20 people: £260.00
  • over 20 people: add £6.90 per person
  • this cruise is not suitable for children under 6 years old
• Campbells on Coniston (90 minutes)
  • 1 to 12 people: £200.00
  • 13 to 20 people: £260.00
  • over 20 people: add £6.90 per person
  • children under 3 years old are free

general information

Most of our charters start from Coniston Boatlandings where there is easy parking and toilet facilities. We can however pick you up from other locations - but may have to make an extra charge for our running time in getting the boat to you.

A wide diversity of groups have used our launches - anniversary parties, photographic clubs, wedding groups, 'office' parties, and others. Numbers have ranged from 2 people to both our boats being full!
